Role Description and Responsibilities Our client, a tier 2 Microfinance Company licensed by the Bank of Ghana seeks qualified personnel for immediate employment. The company is passionate about providing inclusive financial services to the youth, women groups, and smallholder farmers in rural, peri-urban and marginalized communities across Ghana through its innovative outreach and digitized processes.
·      Interview/screen prospective clients and guide them through the application process ensuring that the client provides all required documentation.

·         Perform pre-qualification assessment including visits to the client’s place of business.

·         Prepare appraisal reports for client’s loan requests.

·         Communicate loan approval or denial to the client and facilitate the disbursement process.

·         Maintain credit/loan files to ensure that files are complete (application letter, appraisal form and report, loan approval letter, documentation of security, repayment schedule and monitoring and recovery reports.)

·         Undertake field visits, prepare reports and generate new business.

·         Provide technical advice and manage useful and practical information for the benefit of customers.

·         Ensure a healthy and quality loan portfolio.

·         Responsible for the growth of the loan portfolio.

·         Monitor credit performance of clients including status of payments and conditions of the clients’ business on a monthly basis.

·         Market the institution’s loan products to clients and build and maintain client relationships educating them on any new products and services.

·         Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and to ensure correct classification and provisioning for loans and advances.

·         Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Experience and Education: ·         Minimum Diploma/HND/First Degree in any Discipline.

 

·         Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar position in a Tier-2 Microfinance Institution

Salary and Other Benefits

Basic Salary of GH 1000 Net (Plus Commission)
