Profile of the Organization

Our client, a team of elite professionals and mentors in the area of Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistical Analysis, Business Management, Education and Research, with years of experience in these fields is looking for a marketing officer.  They are motivated by their core principles to offer paramount actuarial training and Consulting services by engaging experts that possess great acumen in their areas of expertise and demystify the fear of mathematics and its related fields in theory and in practice among individuals and corporate bodies with integrity and unflinching support.
Role Description and Responsibilities · Identify and approach potential new companies or individuals to engage as clients

· Build positive and productive relationships with clients for business growth.

· Manage and close client businesses to achieve profitability.

· Inform clients about company services and promotions.

· Schedule regular meetings, discussions, teleconferences and visit client offices to strengthen the relationships.

· Provide client support and handle client communications effectively.

· Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

· Ensure that client requests are handled timely and accurately.

· Responsible for external relationship management with key stakeholders.

Person Specification
Experience and Education:

 

· Should have at least three (3) years of experience in a marketing/ business development role.

· Degree in Mathematics, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Business Administration or related field

· Experience in similar industry is a plus.

 

Skills:

 

· Excellent communication

· Strong negotiation and influencing skills

· The ability to communicate confidently and effectively – through both speaking and writing

· Self-motivated and resilient

·  A high level of creativity when it comes to new sales opportunities

· The ability to research and keep on top of developments in the industry

· Ability to use Microsoft word and Excel for documentation and reporting

· Should be able to manage an office

· Excellent administrative skills
