Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Associate is responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives to promote the bank’s products and services, attract new customers, and retain existing clients. This role-plays a crucial part in developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential customers through market research, referrals, and networking.
    • Conduct cold calls, meetings, and presentations to showcase the bank’s products and services.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
    • Cross-sell and upsell banking products to existing customers to increase revenue.
    • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the bank.
  2. Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify customer segments, trends, and competitive offerings.
    • Create and implement marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
    • Utilize various marketing channels, including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising methods.
    • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
  3. Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and customers.
    • Work closely with product managers to stay updated on new products, features, and industry trends.
    • Provide feedback and market insights to assist in the development of new products and services.
    • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
  4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
    • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
    • Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and recommend new sales and marketing approaches.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, financial services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
